The need to delicately take care of rugs is very important; especially it is a valuable one. The most frequented way of cleaning is with the vacuum cleaner. If it gets stained then it should be blotted quickly with a dry and absorbent material soaked with stain resistant solution. Underlying pads are available which can be put under the rugs to help minimize wear. This also adds years to the rug while keeping the rug in place. If one can afford then there is nothing which will protect the rug for years than a session at the cleaners every year.
